ELIMINATE YOUR ELEVENS

Hey Chasers,

You may have noticed that Dysport is one of our CV Medi Spa specials during June. So what is Dysport®? Is it the same thing as Botox? Is it safe? Are there long-term effects? Do you have to be an athlete to use it? Does it hurt? Will it make me look like I’m 25 forever?

We’re here to help you put your best face forward, and we want you to feel informed about any decisions you’re making when it comes to your look and your overall confidence.

The definition straight from the Dysport® website explaining the product is, “a natural-looking, fast-acting, long-lasting prescription injection proven to help smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows—without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face.” — You know…your “elevens.” Those lines between your eyes that all of a sudden appeared and maybe even got stuck just like your grandmother warned they would if you kept crinkling your face like that? Well, granny, lucky for us we have an easy fix for that in this day and age.

Here’s How It Works:

Natural-Looking

We all love Jennifer Coolidge, but if you’re afraid of losing movement in your face after getting Dysport, fear not! Our expert injectors are pros when it comes to giving you a natural look and feel. The biggest difference will be the lines that show up in your day-to-day face movements.

Fast-Acting

As soon as you get to your car you’re going to pull down your visor and do the frown check in the mirror – don’t worry, we all do it, but it’s not likely you’ll notice a change within the first few minutes, but luckily, you will in the next 2-3 days. After doing the mirror check for the next two weeks, you’ll see a softened glow that you can expect for the duration of your prescription.

Long-Lasting

Your overall appointment at the CV Medi Spa will only take about 30 minutes (unless we get delayed by really good conversation, which is likely to happen), and you can expect to look this vibrant and serene for an average of 90-120 days. That’s a time and price ratio just about anyone can get behind!

What’s the difference between Dysport® and Botox®?

There’s a lot these two treatments have in common, one of those being that we love both! They’re both noninvasive neurotoxin injections that block muscle contractions or relax the muscles just below the skin, aka, they treat the appearance of wrinkles. Dysport focuses on those pesky “elevens”, scientifically known as the “glabella.” Botox can also treat wrinkles and fine lines in your forehead and around your eyes.

The investment in a more confident you

The rates for this service vary depending on the individual because you are charged per unit. How does someone know how many units they’ll need? Leave that up to our injection specialists who will map out your injection sites and determine your specific need for the results you want (and they see fit.) It’s likely you’ll fall somewhere around 20 units for “elevens” treatment, but the amount you need could fall anywhere from 10-50 units.

The cost is $12 per unit. Our Friends and Besties get a discounted rate, and during June all of our guests can enjoy a discounted rate of $10 per unit.
